Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 package (9 ounces) flax, oat bran & whole wheat lavash bread (4 pieces)
1 cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded low - moisture part - skim mozzarella cheese
Directions
- In small bowl, stir oil and seasoning; brush over both sides of bread. Leaving 1-inch border, top bread with sauce, cheese and toppings, if desired; fold short sides of bread over filling into thirds.
- Preheat grill pan over medium-high heat. In batches, cook panini, seam side down, 5 minutes or until bread is crisp and cheese is melted, pressing down occasionally with large spatula and turning once. Makes 4 panini.
- Serve panini with dressing, if desired
