Ingredients
2 cups Minute® Brown Rice
1 can (15 oz) mandarin orange segments
1 tsp ground ginger
1 can (8 oz) sliced water chestnuts, drained and chopped
1/2 cup sliced celery
1/2 cup Asian sesame salad dressing
3 green onions, thinly sliced
Directions

1. Drain mandarin oranges, reserving liquid. Add enough water to reserved liquid to measure 2 cups. Stir in ginger.

 

2. Prepare rice according to package directions, substituting reserved mandarin orange liquid for water. Refrigerate cooked rice for 30 minutes.

 

3. Add water chestnuts, celery, dressing and green onions; mix lightly. Gently stir in oranges.
